    1. Deb

Gone. He had to pull the app when Google increased prices, again 🙁

He recommended Speedy Route, but it’s not near the saem 😛

      1. shawn

NO where close to what you had. I will pay for my share for you to come back. I will get every sales rep I know to sign up as well. I didn’t know how bad other products are. Please come back

    2. Maria C Barajas

Have you tried Circuit Route Planner? It’s almost the same. We used OptiMap for our deliveries and yes we would also pay to bring it back. Good luck & God Bless

    1. Leslie Duncan

I agree, I’d definitely pay for Optimap! Speedy route is garbage!
HAS ANYONE FOUND ANY PROGRAM THAT WORKS?

  2. Robert

Hi, I understand that you want to be paid for your work on Optimap.
But Speedyroute is trash unfortunatly. I would pay for optimap though.
    Any chance?

  3. Daniel

Speedy Route is apparently trash. I kept re-entering locations in Kentucky, and Speedy Route kept thinking I was talking about locations in TN and Australia. 🙁

  4. Deeker Nicolas

Same for me, optimap was great, speedy route keeps wanting me to go in france, But i have to deliver next doore, in Belgium!
Please put back something as good as optimap!

  5. Mira

I would 100% pay a subscription for Optimap, Speedy Route is NO WAY way near as good as Optimap, please bring it back somehow!! You cant seriously be promoting Speedy Route, it cant find half of the street addresses in Australia, you can change the order of drops but it doesn’t re-calculate, what’s the point!

  6. daniel sloan

I don’t know what happened but I’m with others… I’d pay a few dollars a month for Optimap for sure. This really sucks! I have a ton of orders and no way to route them now as its like 70 a day. I didn’t even see a notice that it was going to be shut down… HELP!

  7. Pascal

  8. Michal VĂt

Please start Optimap again… I will pay it monthy… please… what about 20-30$??

  9. henry gaumont

Optimap is far superior to any other routing system I’ve tried. No other system is as accurate and easy to use. Would gladly pay a monthly fee to bring it back. PLEASE!

  10. Deb

I would also rather pay for your program rather than Speedy Route. I’ve gone with the paid subscription and not happy with the results. Will be cancelling it, shortly.

I’m using another service in the meantime, but really prefer yours. Please email if you will be bringing it back as a “paid” service.

And for those complaining and demanding “FREE”, take into consideration yourself. DO YOU WORK FOR FREE? I know I don’t and I do not expect the developers designing these programs and paying for their operations (website maintenance, etc.) to do so either. Was nice when it was, but I had no idea the costs involved and do understand not being able to continue paying for something that is not to your benefit.

  11. Johan Gheldof

Please bring Optimap back online. Speedyroute is crap: adresses are not recognized correctly, there is no way of exporting the plotted route in any sensible way…. Why shut down a service that was perfect??? Only one reason I guess: to be able to charge people….

  12. henry

Has anyone found a good multi-stop route planner yet?
I’ve tried many of them and hate what i am finding.

    1. Sean

Garmin Nuvi sat navs with the app icon inside there’s an app called trip planner works just like optimap see you tube on how to use . Trust me works brilliantly

  13. benjamin cognata

just noticed optimap is shut down. Just wanted to let you guys know that this was an awesome product while it was in use. I would like to see it again, but I made a lot of money while it was in service! Thanks Optimap!

  14. Shawn

You should bring this back and put ads on the website, ask for donations, and/or require a payment. You obviously have the market and a far superior product once you read these reviews. I am sure others would be willing to help you if time is an issue. Please consider!

Hi get a Garmin Nuvi sat nav with the app icon on main screen . Inside that is an app called trip planner works just as good as optimap if not better . Let’s you add lots of post codes and optimises the route for you . Been using it a couple of weeks now and it’s fantastic . Paid about £60 for nav from eBay

  16. Sean

Hi all was using optimap everyday like you guys until it was taken down . Tried speedy route but was complete rubbish . Have now found out that certain Garmin Nuvi SATNAV s have an app feature on the main screen . Go into this and you’ll see an icon called trip planner . Follow on screen prompts and it will let you enter all the postcodes you need. You can then optimise the route and it basicaly does the same as what optimap did . Also as you’ve already entered the postcodes you won’t need to again it just takes you from one stop to another . Trust me guys it works fantastic

    Hi Geir,

    A few things –

    1. Thank you for Optimap for so many years, it was an amazing website.

    2. If you don’t want to sell it on and have someone else try and make a go of it, that’s up to you but it is definitely a waste if you don’t.

    3. If you want to put your name to speedy route at least assist them with –
    – getting their addresses correct (some addresses in Australia just cannot be found)
    – re-routing automatically once a change has been made (we can move the drops around but it does not then reroute itself like yours did so well)
    – rounding the trips, their site is ok, but yours was superior at that.

I hope you get a chance to read this and try and help us poor desperate drivers who do pay and would pay if there is something similar to yours out there.

  18. Brandon Terry

Please bring back Optimap. We all would be willing to pay a fee. There is no other website that allows to upload almost 100 address. The ability to find the address and also be able to do a roundtrip is not possible anywhere else. Also being able to copy and paste a list of these addresses. Somebody is going to make this website or something similar, it is a matter of time. If someone knows how to get this rolling again and needs funding hit up the people in the comments.

  19. Camilla Varming

    Please bring back Optimap <3
Time is the most valuable thing we have, and Optimap saved me hours of work.

  20. Sefy Levy

    Please come back!
    Make it a charge even!
OptiMap beats EVERYTHING currently out there!
I’ve been using it for every walking route I do on my vacations!

  21. John M

As good as Optimap was, speedy route is the opposite. I don’t mind paying if what I am getting is deserving. I have been tolerating the utter-bad service they offer since the shutdown and recently shifted to Route4Me. Are they paid? Yes! But, I save a lot of time now by optimizing routes swiftly and hassle-free.

  22. JB

Please bring back Optimap!!! Speedy Route is a piece of junk, and there is nothing as good as optimap was. Post a GoFundMe Link, all of us that realize what a great product you had will pay for it!!

  23. JSR

Since Optimap got out I tried many different options, nothing good enough to try more than 2 times, finally I start planning manually, I have also tried the Garmin optimizer option, before that Optimap shut down, and I don’t like that the optimization is normally giving me routes that take longer than Optimap, and doing it manually, most of the time I can get a better timing than the Garmin optimizer.
Using Optimap for some years, the only issue that I found was that I had to double check the pinpoints because sometimes those were wrong, I believe for any 100 addresses that I put using optimap just 1 was in the wrong spot. After this Optimap was great. hopefully one day it will be back.

  24. Amer Yasin

I used this App and so far was the best. The only one helped me route properly. I would be happy to pay rather use a crappy one rerouted to.

  25. David Allan Love

Hi Everyone, Check out RouteXL.com, as a replacement for Optimap. It is better than Speedyroute.

    1. mike dh

Yes, that is the best replacement. I upgraded and got Google maps. Works like a charm, Optimap 2.0 for me.

  26. Mike

Road Warrior is good but limited to 8 destinations on the free version.
